Thursday, July 9, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that vehicles travelling through the Armdale Rotary this weekend may experience delays or be rerouted due to the installation of a natural gas pipeline in the area.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, and continuing until 5 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, Chebucto Road will be closed to vehicles exiting the Armdale Rotary. Traffic travelling southwest on Chebucto will still be able to enter the rotary. Construction will continue through the day on Sunday, but crews will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction.
Motorists should expect delays while this work is underway and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality and Heritage Gas apologize in advance for any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
