A man faces a charge after a search by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit this morning in Dartmouth.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., ICE investigators conducted a search of a residence on Sarnia Avenue. Officers arrested a suspect without incident and seized computer equipment.
A 47-year-old Dartmouth man has been charged with possession of child pornography. He was released from custody under conditions to not communicate with children under the age of 16, not be within 25 meters of a place frequented by children and not access the internet or possess a device able to access the internet. He will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on December 31.
