Monday, June 8, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of College Street in Halifax will continue to be closed to daytime traffic this week as crews finish installing hot water pipes in the area.
The street will shut down daily between Summer and Carlton streets starting at 7 a.m. and reopen each night at about 9 p.m. This work is now scheduled to be complete by Friday, June 12, depending on the weather.
During the day crews will continue to accommodate access for local traffic only. Pedestrians will still be able to walk through the area. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
