Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that patching work will continue Wednesday, Oct. 15, on Barrington Street near the MacKay Bridge and the Windsor Street Exchange.
Crews will be working from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. Work in the morning hours will focus on the eastbound lanes of Barrington Street, starting at the ramp near Lady Hammond Road. In the afternoon crews will be working on Barrington between the Mackay Bridge and Africville Road.
Lane drops will be in place while this work is going on and there will be stop-and-go traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes, if possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
