Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Cow Bay Road will be closed to through traffic between Hornes and Shore roads starting Wednesday, Aug. 26, and continuing into Thursday night.
Crews will begin work at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, and the road is expected to remain closed until approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28.
Please note access to businesses along the commercial corridor of Cow Bay Road will be maintained throughout this closure. Motorists may gain access to these businesses and homes in the area from the Cow Bay/Shore roads intersection.
This road closure is necessary to install service laterals to a new development along Cow Bay Road.
Signed detours will be in place to direct through traffic around the work area.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road closure will cause.
