Update: Crews have completed work on Dartmouth Road between the Bedford Highway and Magazine Hill. Construction will not take place on Monday night.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that nighttime road construction will take place tonight and Monday night on Dartmouth Road between the Bedford Highway and Magazine Hill.
Crews will be on site from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. The traffic lights on Dartmouth Road at Ridgevale Drive and at the Bedford Highway will be off tonight from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
On Monday, the traffic lights will be off from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the Bedford Highway/Dartmouth Road intersection. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians around the construction areas.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
