Death ruled a homicide

The suspicious death that occurred yesterday in Dartmouth has been ruled a homicide. 

At approximately 1:09 p.m. yesterday, Halifax Regional Police responded to a sudden death call at a home on Farquharson Street. Responding officers located a deceased person inside. 

Based on today’s autopsy, the Medical Examiner has ruled the death a homicide and identified the victim as 58-year-old Lori Katherine Jollimore of Dartmouth. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

The investigation, led by the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and including Forensic Identification officers, is ongoing and we remain on scene. At this time, we anticipate being on scene overnight and into Saturday.
