Death ruled a homicide

The suspicious death that occurred yesterday at a residence on Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth has been ruled a homicide.

 On December 16 at approximately 7:15 a.m. police responded to a report of a suspicious death at a residence on Kennedy Drive. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service conducted an autopsy and has ruled the death a homicide. The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Vincent Lamont Beals. 

 The investigation, led by the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and including Forensic Identification officers, is ongoing and officers remain on scene of the residence.
