Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Demone Street in Halifax will be closed to vehicle traffic this weekend due to construction in the area.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, Demone Street will shut down between Robie Street and Agricola Street, and remain closed until about 12 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29. The street will not reopen overnight.
Crews will accommodate access for local traffic only and pedestrians during that time. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
