Drug Charges

A man and two women face charges after a drug search in Halifax.

At 8:15 p.m. on February 27, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit executed a search at an apartment in the 5400 block of Uniacke Street. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hydromorphone, oxycodone and diazepam, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash. A man and two women who were in the apartment at the time of the search were arrested without incident.

Fourty-four-year-old Ricky Daniel Cameron of Halifax is charged with five counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. He was held in custody and appeared in Halifax Provincial Court yesterday.

Twenty-six-year-old Tiffany Dawn Macisaac and 18-year-old Christina Margarita Tesfai-Cameron, both from Halifax, are charged with five counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. They were released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on April 9, 2013.
