Drug Charges

Three men face charges after a drug search last night in Halifax.

At 7:40 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a search of a residence in the 3400 block of Micmac Street. Officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. Three men inside the residence were arrested without incident.

Twenty-one-year-old Derrick Coryaunt Allison and 21-year-old Tremaine Maurice Emmerson, both of Halifax, are charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of drugs and two counts of breach of probation. They were held overnight and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.

Nineteen-year-old Marcus Verreault of Halifax is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of drugs and breach of recognizance. He was held overnight and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
