Three people face drug charges after a search warrant was executed on November 7 in Halifax.

Shortly after 10 p.m., investigators assigned to the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search of a residence in the 1500 block of Robie Street. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, LSD, Psilocybin, MDMA, money and drug paraphernalia during the search.

A 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both of Halifax, each face one count of drug trafficking , three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. They will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date. A second man, 22-year-old John Emmerson Ward of Halifax, was remanded into custody and appeared in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday to face charges of drug trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, breach of recognizance as well as resisting arrest.
