(12:15 p.m.)A man faces charges after a drug search yesterday in Dartmouth.

At 9 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 100 block of Slayter Street. Officers seized a quantity of hydromorphone, crack-cocaine, marijuana, cash and a prohibited switchblade knife.

A 40-year-old Dartmouth man was arrested at the scene. He faces three counts of possession of drugs and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon. He was released from custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on August 13.
