Drug search – Charles Meade Drive, Williamswood

A man and a woman face drug charges after a search warrant was executed on October 22 in Williamswood.

Shortly after 3 p.m., investigators assigned to the Guns and Gang unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search of a residence in the 0-100 block of Charles Meade Drive. Officers seized a large quantity of marijuana, a number of marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and cash during the search.

Thirty-five-year-old Trevor Charles Miller and 36-year-old Shannon Irene Johnson were arrested at the scene and each face one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of production of a controlled substance and one count of theft of power. Miller was held in custody overnight and appeared in court yesterday. Johnson was released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on December 9.
