Drug Charges

A man faces charges after a drug search last night in Halifax.

At 10:35 p.m., investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a search of a residence in the 100 block of Coronation Avenue. A 26-year-old man was arrested without incident and officers seized a quantity of cocaine, steroids, cash, and drug paraphernalia. The man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on September 18, 2012 to face two charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
