On the evening of November 29, officers assigned to the West Quick Response Unit executed a search warrant at an address on Frederick Avenue in Halifax resulting in a quantity of marijuana being seized.
A 30-year-old woman and 18-year-old man, both of Halifax, were arrested at the scene without incident. They each face one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. The woman faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon. They have been released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
