Drug search leads to charges

A man faces multiple charges as a result of a drug search in Halifax this past weekend. 

On June 10 at 1:20 p.m., members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of the patrol, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of Beech Street. As a result of the search, a quantity of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis resin, psilocybin, marihuana and Xanax were seized along with drug paraphernalia. At 4:26 p.m., officers arrested a man in the 1300 block of Barrington Street without incident.

Twenty-six-year-old Christohper Daniel Koloff from Halifax has been charged with one count each of possession the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, possession the purpose of trafficking in MDMA, possession the purpose of trafficking in cannabis resin, possession the purpose of trafficking in psilocybin, possession for the purpose of trafficking in marihuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking in Xanax. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial court today.
