Two women face charges as a result of a drug search executed yesterday in Halifax.
At 7:55 a.m., members of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the 0-100 block of Evans Avenue. As a result of this search, quantities of cocaine, marijuana, hash, packaging, scales and a quantity of cash were seized.
Two Halifax women, 26-year-old Jessica Nancy Corkum and 28-year-old Shardee Lynn Borden, were both charged with one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana.
Both women appeared in Halifax Provincial Court yesterday afternoon.
