The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists to expect a street closure on the Fairview Overpass, between Joseph Howe Dr. and Bedford Highway, this weekend.
The closure is necessary so work crews can replace a guiderail in the area. Work will be completed between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., beginning this evening and continuing until Sunday.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes wherever possible. Pedestrian traffic will be directed around the work site as necessary.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
