On Saturday night at approximately 8:44 P.M. Halifax Regional Police officers attempted to stop a red Chevrolet cobalt on Albro Lake Rd, Dartmouth, for a motor vehicle infraction. The police were in a marked patrol car with emergency equipment activated but the vehicle continued east on Albro Lake Rd to Catherine Street and eventually coming to a stop on Farrell Road. Three suspects fled on foot but the driver was arrested at the scene. A 21 year old North Preston man will be appearing in court charged with evading police, unsafe storage of ammunition and obstructing police.
