At 10:34 p.m. on August 2, officers responded to a break and enter call in the 1600 block of the Bedford Highway. A man wearing a mask was observed running from behind a retail commercial building with an alarm sounding. Officers and members of the HRP K9 Unit attended the location and apprehended the suspect without incident.
The 19-year-old man will face charges of break and enter and property damage and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on August 3, 2012.
