At approximately 10 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance on Marvin Street in Dartmouth. It appears that an altercation occurred between an unknown male and a resident of an address on Marvin Street. During this altercation, the suspect struck the victim in the face with some type of pole or stick. The 50-year-old male victim sustained injuries to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect was not located. At this time it is not known if the victim and suspect know each other. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-25-years-old, with a tattoo on his upper left arm and wearing a white tank top. The matter remains under investigation.
