At 4 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at the Salvation Army Store, 118 Wyse Road in Dartmouth. A man entered the store and demanded cash. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-twenties with red hair and wearing blue jeans and a black jacket, black hat and black gloves. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016. Update - January 24, 2012 (9:03 p.m.)

As a result of the investigation, the suspect was identified and at approximately 7 p.m. members of the Integrated General Investigation Section arrested the man without incident at his residence in Dartmouth. A 23-year-old man will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Wednesday to face a charge of robbery.
