At 8:44 p.m., police responded to an industrial accident at the Halifax Harbour Bridges building on the Dartmouth side of the MacKay Bridge. Workers were dismantling part of the building when a male worker fell off the structure to the ground. He was transported to hospital with serious head injuries. The Department of Labour will continue the investigation.
