At approximately 12:15 p.m. a vehicle with two occupants was travelling down Sackville Street towards Lower Water Street. It appears that the driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then struck a parked car, continued down Sackville Street and struck a second car that was stopped at the stop sign on Lower Water Street. The out of control vehicle then continued across Lower Water Street and struck a third vehicle that was travelling north on Lower Water Street. The out of control vehicle came to rest against a tree and the third vehicle that was struck came to rest against a traffic sign. All four vehicles involved in the collisions sustained significant damage. A 25-year-old man and a 25-year- old woman who were in the out of control vehicle and a 65-year-old woman in the last vehicle struck were taken to hospital with injuries that are believed to be non life threatening. Lower Water Street, the lower portion of Sackville Street and the lower portion of Salter Street were closed for some time due to this collision.
