Just prior to 11 p.m. police responded to the area of Uniacke Street and Brunswick Street in relation to numerous complaints of multiple shots being fired. Shortly after, the QEII Hospital reported that a person had just been brought to the emergency with a gun shot wound. A man in his mid 20's is recovering in hospital with non life threatening injuries. A crime scene was located in the area of Uniacke Street and the matter remains under investigation.
