At approximately 5 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the Needs Convenience Store, 6124 Coburg Road in Halifax. The store clerk stated that a masked man entered the store, brandished an unidentified weapon at him and then demanded money. The clerk stated that he did not have any money and the suspect fled the store, running towards Robie Street. Nothing was stolen and no one was injured during the incident. The suspect was described as a white man, 25 to 30-years-old, wearing a red hoodie and a beige jacket with red sleeves. The suspect's face was covered by a black cloth. The matter remains under investigation.
