At 6:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the 600 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth. The caller reported that a vehicle drove through a construction site and fell into a 6' hole. Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency removed a 79-year-old man, who was the sole occupant, from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution and released. The Department of Labor was made aware of the incident and the hole was filled in immediately after the accident.
