GO #12-155532 - Theft/Weapons

At approximately 10 a.m., a man entered the Dewalt Store on Ilsley Avenue in Dartmouth. When staff were not looking the man put numerous items in to a duffel bag and fled the store. A staff member gave chase until the suspect produced a knife and threatened him, at which time he  returned to the store to call police. No one was injured during the incident. Officers checked the area but weren't able to to locate the suspect.  The suspect is described as a white man, 5'5", with dark coloured eyes. He was  wearing a long coat and a blue toque with white stripes and was carrying a blue duffel bag.
