At 8:20 p.m., police responded to the 2400 block of Creighton Street in relation to a report of a man suffering from a stab wound. Responding officers located an injured 46-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen in an apartment. The victim was transported to the QE II hospital and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Investigators believe the incident didn't occur in the apartment and at this time, it appears it occurred somewhere in the immediate surrounding area. The investigation is in its early stages and the victim and witnesses are still being interviewed. The General Investigation Section is continuing the investigation.
