At 9:51 p.m., two males forcibly entered a residence in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth and assaulted the 42-year-old male tenant. He was struck several times with an unknown object which resulted in multiple lacerations. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released. This was not a random incident.
