At 6:44 p.m. an 83-year-old woman was struck by a car as she crossed Tacoma Drive at Hartlen Street in Dartmouth. She was transported to hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The 81-year-old male driver of the vehicle was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
