At 11:20 p.m. police responded to the area of Alma Crescent in Halifax for a report of a stabbing. Officers located a 25-year-old man on the corner of Ashdale Crescent and Titus Street suffering from a stab wound. The man was pronounced dead by EHS shortly after their arrival. Officers checked the area with the assistance of a K-9 unit but didn't locate the suspect. Members of the Integrated Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Section were called to attend the scene and continue the investigation. Presently officers are still on scene. Several areas are condoned off to allow further examination. Titus Street is open for vehicular traffic.
