At 11:52 p.m., a patrol officer observed two vehicles racing on Bayers Road. He completed a traffic stop on one of the vehicles and could smell marijuana. The 21-year-old male driver was found to be in possession of marijuana, bear spray, a switch blade knife, and ammunition. He was arrested without incident and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date to face charges two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, and one count each of possession of marijuana, carless storage of ammunition and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
