At 6 p.m., police received a report of a robbery at the Metro Transit bus terminal on Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. A twenty-one year-old woman was assaulted by three female suspects who attempted to steal her knapsack. The suspects knocked the victim to the ground and kicked and punched her. The victim received minor injuries and EHS was not required at the scene. The suspects weren't sucessful in taking the knapsack and fled the area on foot. During the investigation, three female youths were identified and arrested a short time later. All three will be appearing in Youth Court tomorrow morning. Two youths are being charged with robbery and breaching their conditions. The third youth is being charged with assaulting police and obstruction.
