At approximately 9:45 p.m., police received a report of a break and enter in-progress at a residence on Gemstone Court in Halifax. Responding officers took a female suspect into custody without incident. A firearm was discovered during the course of the investigation. A 47-year-old woman was charged with break and enter, property damage, uttering threats and several firearms-related offences.
