At approximately 12:25 a.m., police responded to an intrusion alarm call at a business in the 2600 block of Clifton Street in Halifax. Upon arrival, officers found that a break and enter had occured at the business. As the officers were on their way to the call, they noticed a man walking away from the general direction of the business. After discovering the break and enter, the officers were able to locate this man a short distance away and he was subsequently arrested. A 24-year-old man will appear in court at a later date to face charges of break and enter and theft.
