GO #12-24804 - Robbery

At approximately 8 p.m. police responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at the TD Bank located at 6239 Quinpool Road in Halifax. Staff at the bank stated that a man entered the bank brandishing a handgun. He ordered the staff and clients to the floor and demanded cash. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and remains at large at this time. No one was injured during this incident. The suspect was described as a light skinned black man, 25 to 30 years of age, 5'10" to 6' tall. He was wearing a red ski style jacket with a black hoodie beneath it, black jeans, white sneakers and a black ski type mask. This matter is now being investigated by members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section.
