At 7:10 p.m., police responded to a two vehicle collision at the corner of Wright Avenue and Burnside Drive in Dartmouth. Both vehicles, a car and a SUV, had extensive damage and the car had been pushed in to the light standard. HRM Fire and Emergency assisted with removing two adults, a 31-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, from the car. They were taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but not life threatening injuries. A 40-year-old woman in the SUV wasn't injured. The other passengers of the SUV, two boys aged 9 and 7, were taken to hospital for precautionary reasons with minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation by Halifax Regional Police.
