At 7:47 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle/pedestrian collision in the 0-100 block of Purcell's Cove Road. Two pedestrians were crossing Purcell's Cove Road when they were struck by a vehicle travelling outbound. It appears that the inbound traffic had stopped for the pedestrians to cross but the driver of the outbound vehicle didn't see them and struck them as they crossed.
