At approximately 9 p.m., police responded to Dooley's Pool Hall located at 30 Farnham Gate Road in Halifax. An altercation had taken place outside the establishment and two men were sprayed with a noxious substance. A third person was also exposed to the spray but wasn't directly targeted. The business was temporarily evacuated while HRM Fire and Emergency attempted to ventilate the building. The business owners eventually shut down for the night. The victims were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The suspect had fled the scene in an unknown vehicle prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20's, 5'3", slim build, short (buzz cut) brown hair, with multiple tattoos on his arms and wearing a long white t-shirt and jeans. The matter remains under investigation.
