At 1:35 a.m., members of the Central Quick Response Unit and HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit executed a drug search warrant in the 6400 block of Young Street in Halifax. Officers seized scales, cash and a quantity of powder cocaine, crack cocaine and ecstasy pills. A 20-year-old Halifax man was taken into custody without incident. He was held overnight and will appear in court in the morning to face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Investigators may charge additional individuals at a later date.
