At 11 p.m. East Division members responded to the100 block of Victoria Road to a report of a man outside of a vehicle carrying a hand gun. Minutes later, members responded to an open air 9-1-1 call from an apartment in the 200 block of Victoria Road that sounded like a robbery in progress. When members approached the apartment door they were met by two masked men attempting to exit. One of the masked men was carrying a handgun. The apartment was quickly secured by additional responding officers. A loaded hand gun was located and a vehicle believed to be associated to the first call was seized. Officers arrested three men,aged 18,19 and 24, and a 16-year-old male youth. The four accused will appear in provincial court to face robbery, assault and weapons related charges. No injuries were reported by the four occupants of the apartment. Police believe the two reported incidents are related. The incident remains under investigation by members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section and additional charges may follow.
