At 8:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. Three women were crossing Tower Road at Inglis Street in an easterly direction when one of the pedestrians was struck by a vehicle that didn't stop at the red light prior to making a right hand turn onto Inglis Street. The woman was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. At the time of the collision it was dark and raining.The suspect vehicle is a dark blue or black, four door sedan type car with a Nova Scotia license plate. The matter remains under investigation.
