At 1 a.m. Central Division Patrol Officers responded to a report of a robbery in an apartment in the 5400 block of Victoria Road in Halifax. A number of people were at a gathering in the apartment when three masked men forced their way inside. One of the suspects was in possession of a handgun. The suspects robbed the occupants of valuables in their possession including cash, cell phones and jewellery. The only description of the suspect is three black males in their late teens or early twenties, each wearing dark clothing. One of the victims was taken to hospital, treated for minor injuries and subsequently released. The matter remains under investigation and at this time is not believed to be a random act.
