At approximatley 8:10 a.m., a man in his 80's was attempting to cross the intersection of Bell Road and Trollope Street in Halifax when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with broken bones. A charge of failing to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk is expected to be laid against the male driver of the vehicle.
