At 10:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a robbery at Kempster's Restaurant located at 3644 Kempt Road in Halifax. A male entered the restaurant with his face covered by a mask. He demanded the cash from an employee and produced a small handgun. An undetermined amount of cash was given to the suspect who then fled on foot. No employees were injured. The suspect is described as a white male 5’10, 180 lbs wearing a hat that possibly had blond hair sticking out from under it, glasses, dark blue pants and dark hoodie. The suspect has not been located as of this time.
