At 12:50 p.m., police responded to an assist ambulance call on Montgomery Court in Halifax. A 30-year-old man had called for an ambulance as he had been cleaning a firearm and accidentally shot himself in the hand. The man was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries. There is nothing believed to be suspicious about the incident
