At 8:45 p.m., the Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response Team along with officers from the General Investigation Section and Patrol executed a search warrant in the 5200 block of Duffus Street in Halifax. This warrant was in relation to the previous night's robbery of a taxi driver on Novalea Drive in Halifax. The search was conducted without incident and an 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene but was subsequently released without any charges being laid at this time. The robbery investigation is still ongoing.
