At 4:23 a.m., police attended the QE2 hospital to meet with the victim of a robbery. The 24-year-old male victim reported that at approximately 2:45 a.m. he was driving in the area of Tower Road and Point Pleasant Drive in Halifax when a vehicle pulled in front of him. Four males, on armed with a firearm, approached him and demanded that he get out of his vehicle. He exited the vehicle and was pushed to the ground. The suspects demanded money and kicked the victim while he was on the ground. The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled in a white, larger model vehicle, possibly a truck. The victim attended the hospital with non life threatening injures. The suspects aren't known to the victim. The suspects are described as black males, twenty to thirty-years-old. Their faces were covered with masks.
